Why search matters

Once you have many chats, locating one answer or thread is hard without search. Typing a keyword or phrase lets you jump to the right conversation or message. Useful for work, research, or when you remember something was discussed but not where.

How search works in Get4oBack

Use the search option in the app (e.g. in the sidebar or header) and enter what you are looking for. Results show matching chats or messages so you can open the right one. Search is available on all plans. Combine it with folders to stay organized and find things fast.

Getting better results

Use specific terms you remember from the conversation. Search matches both your messages and the AI's replies. If you have many chats, combining search with folders helps narrow results. For long threads, opening the chat and using your browser's find (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) can locate a specific sentence. Search is one of the most useful features once your history grows.

Search scope and privacy

Search runs only on your own chats - we do not index your content for anyone else. Results are private to your account. Search is available on all plans (Free, Plus, Pro) and works across every conversation you have in Get4oBack. If you export or delete a chat, it will no longer appear in search. There are no separate search limits; you can search as often as you like. It is a local feature over your data, not a separate service that consumes tokens.

Search and export

After you find a chat via search, you can open it and export the thread if you need a copy for your records or to share. Export is available for any conversation. So the flow is: search to find, open to read, export if you need a file. Handy for pulling out past drafts, support answers, or research. Exported chats are yours to keep; we do not train on your content. Search plus export gives you full control over your history.
