Upload Files and Images to GPT-4o: How It Works
You can upload files and images to your GPT-4o chat. The model can read documents and images and respond to them. How uploads work in Get4oBack, what formats are supported, and what you can do with them.
What you can attach
Get4oBack supports attaching files and images to your messages. The GPT-4o model has vision and document understanding: it can read the content and answer questions, summarize, or work with what you sent. Useful for PDFs, images, spreadsheets, or code. Check the app for current file types and size limits.
How to upload
In the chat, use the attachment or upload option (e.g. paperclip or plus icon), pick your file or image, and send. The AI will include it in context and reply accordingly. You can combine text and attachments in the same message. Same kind of flow you had with ChatGPT - familiar and straightforward.
Token usage and limits
File and image content is converted to tokens and counts toward your monthly allowance. Large documents or many images in one thread use more tokens than short text. Plus and Pro give you a higher allowance and a usage dashboard so you can see how much each conversation costs. For very long documents, consider pasting a summary or key sections instead of the full file if that is enough for the AI to help. Supported formats and size limits are in the app.
Tips for best results
For images, describe what you want (e.g. "what is in this diagram?" or "extract the text"). For documents, ask for a summary first or specify sections. One file per message keeps context clear. If the model misses something, point to the relevant part or paste a short excerpt. On the free tier, use uploads for the conversations that matter most; Plus and Pro give you more headroom for heavy document use.
Summary
Get4oBack lets you upload files and images to GPT-4o. The model reads and responds to them. Uploads use tokens from your allowance; check the dashboard on Plus and Pro. Available on all plans.
